My experience with helping others in need started many many years ago. Like so many others it began with taking care of my own family. When an average family is moving along through there normal daily lives and suddenly tragedy strikes. There are so so many things that change for everyone. So many decisions to make and directions to go. Most of us have no experience with disabilities, but there are lots of people who do. I commend them all. For walking and living in their shoes is not easy.
We are the age of having young grand children, and elderly parents so help can be needed in so many directions. I hope in my blogs that follow that I can offer suggestions on a personal level that might make living and caring easier for somebody.. I don't hope to change the world but to make life easier for even one individual would be wonderful.
